The Accounting Career Awareness Program is a professional and personal youth development program serving students who are underrepresented in the accounting and business fields. Through mentorship and our signature, free Residency Week summer program, the Accounting Career Awareness Program offers educational, development, scholarships, and advancement opportunities for participants, and fosters diversity in the accounting profession.
"ACAP was more than I could have ever asked for and I can’t recommend this program enough. In just a week, my passion for accounting developed from a point of barely understanding the work of an accountant to making the decision to pursue it in college. The resources ACAP provides are truly one-of-a-kind and every speaker has inspired me so deeply. I feel so lucky to have had this incredible experience and can’t thank ACAP enough." - 2025 program participant
Since 1980, the Accounting Career Awareness Program has educated, trained, and inspired over 1500 underrepresented students in Washington to explore careers in accounting. With your support, we can continue to do this important work, and to make our program free of charge!
